I'm so sorry to hear about your father's health troubles, but glad to hear he will be ok.  Don't worry about the get togethers, they have been happening all the time, you will make it to one soon I am sure!  We will see you then!

 I'm sorry to say that I won't be able to come to the bonfire on Saturday night after all, which is a real bymmer, since I was really looking forward to seeing everyone. 
 My father's in the hospital, so I need to spend time with him.  He's got asthma and has kidney problems, so has dialysis a couple of times a week but is normally pretty okay.  I talked to my brother on Tuesday afternoon and learned that my father had been having some problems breathing, so saw his doctor on Tuesday, who admitted him to Cedars-Sinai for observation.  I talked to his wife last night and he seemed to be doing okay, since he was in a regular room, but things were affecting his heart and he had a mild heart attack early this morning.  He'll be okay but I do need to see him, so am changing all of my plans.
