[Socal] Cajon Pass Road Closures

>From what I'm seeing, it appears that the southbound I-15 connector  to the 
I-215 is being closed, but I can't tell if that's this week or last  week.
What they suggest are these alternatives:  From Barstow take  the turn off (I 
forget what it is...the 58 maybe?) through Palmdale/Lancester  (definitely 
mapquest for yourself).  Or if you need the 215 south it  appears that you can 
go past it on the 15, exit at Glen Helen and then come back  NORTH on the 15 
switching to the south 215.
BUT DO NOT TAKE MY WORD FOR IT!  Please!  lol  I  don't want to be 
responsible for someone ending up in Mazatlan because I gave  the wrong advice.  lol

I am here in vegas and the south side looks like a parking lot. 15south  to 
the 215 south is a prblem and plus with constuction the 2 lanes becomes  one. 
Heard there might be alternate route back down but still haven't found my  
magic wand yet hehehe
