Gail,

Your most welcome. Santa Monica is not from where i am. If you have any downtime after the BASH maybe we have drinks or a taco just to hang out for while. I am flexible at times so let me know. I am sure i can drag you out to come play. hehehe

Thanks for much for your thoughts and support, Adriana; I really appreciate it. It's hard for me at times, because I live so far from most people on the list (Santa Monica), so can't usually come to events. Needless to say, it's frustrating. I think the most important thing is that I've started to talk to people about how I'm feeling and what I'm going through, so know that others go through the same sorts of things and that this stuff isn't easy. I'm trying to figure out a way that I can do all of the studying I need to do, especially because the material keeps getting harder and harder, but also have a bit of down time, doing something pleasant, so that I can get out of this rut.
  Regards,
  Gail

I wish I could go but once again, I'm in school doing some sort of math, now taking statistics. This class has taken over my life
and I've been pretty stressed. Yes, it's for a higher goal -- grad school -- but still. Pretty much everything I do is some sort of work, be it work, school, studying, running errands, whatever, and I rarely have time to do anything social or see other people. Needless to say, this isn't good, since it's really isolating. In fact, I've been having a sort of emotional meltdown and am not a very happy camper right now. Mostly, it's related to still being single at my age (51), not having anyone to do nurturing things for me and feeling like I'll never meet someone to settle down with who really gets/understands me. It isn't as much about sex as lack of intimacy. All I seem to do is cry at the drop of a hat these days, but I forge ahead.
Anyway, I hope that everyone who goes has a great time and I look forward to hearing about it.
