I dont get to see the L word until I get to SoCal next month and hopefully 
there are episodes still on that can be viewed, or i wait until next 
September here in Canada

I take it for what it is "entertainment" but one with Lesbian drama and not 
the usual boy meets girl boy loses girl girl weeps, gets revenge meets new 
boy... how boring... At least this is offering us a little community on the 
TV.

I like to take TV for what it is, the L Word does a good job at focusing on 
the lesbian community without takign itself too seriously. Some of the story 
lines could be done better, some are done really well.. Casting Eric Roberts 
as Shanes father I thought was pretty cool!

Of course they could represent the butches better and not all dykes are are 
messsed up as this motley crew... but hey at least there is a show about 
lesbians on TV! It opens the doors for more queer oriented characters on the 
little screen...
