Don't feel goofy.  There's no way that someone would know what  this is if 
you haven't been introduced to it.  :)
IMsL is a yearly contest in the leather community to pick a woman  who will 
be a 'titleholder.'  Traditionally, that winner then spends her  year raising 
money for a charity of her choice and also representing the leather  community 
at various events.  The full name is "The International  Ms Leather Contest."
