Tonya,

Actually, the lawyer who prosecuted Tasha made a parting jab at her as they
all left the courthouse. What she said was essentially: 'standing up for
personal freedom is well and good, but the higher cause is to keep your mouth
shut, lie about who you are, and protect the freedom of our country, like
closeted, hypocritical me.'

Good times! Heh.

I have been enjoying this show for the better part of its five year run, and
appreciate that at least this season they've gone back to focusing more on
humor and silliness with most of the storylines and screentime. It's nice that
the show is intentionally parodying and poking fun at itself with all the
movie-within-a-TV-show stuff rather than being an unintentional parody of
itself as in the past few seasons. Some of the choices they're making with writing
and character development vs. plot are still kinda cop-out-y/lazy if you ask
me, but I try to appreciate The L Word for what it is: a lesbo glamfest
circus of utter silliness. And plenty of hot chicks having plenty of hot sex.

As for Bette and Tina, I may not like cheaters much, but I have to admit
that they are super hot together this season. (Can you believe Laurel Holloman,
who plays Tina, had a BABY this past year? She looks flipping amazing.) I'm
hoping they'll drag the angsty lust out for most of the rest of the season,
because if Bettina actually gets back together again, I think they'll get real
boring real fast. :X

Hi...

Yessss... Bette and Tina are hot together the way they kiss and roll
around... it is sucky that Bette is cheating on Jodi... it would be better if
she could break up with Jodi first and/or see what's going on in their own
relationship before getting to the point of outside interests, well in this case
her ex.
So.... I thought that was pretty cool that Tasha said she loved Alice
when facing the military... and very cool, when the obvious lesbian prosecutor
made her statement to Tasha at the end of it all... I can't remember what she
said exactly... but it was something about courage to be her self and
standing up for GLBT community and freedom basically.
The whole Jenny, Nikki, making movie stuff etc.... I find that all kind
of out there, on the boring side, and corny. Shane chasing a woman who is
obviously curious, yeah well I guess that'll be interesting.

What are your thoughts about it all?

Tonya
