[Socal] sutff in LA

Okay, Folks!  With all this talk about a social event, it seems a Goddess is whispering in my ear.  I have been talking with a friend about doing an all women's event at a nearby park (off the 110 fwy between Pasadena and downtown L.A.).  We spoke of a picnic and/or possibly a drum circle (since most of us have a spiritual connection).  We spoke of doing this in August.  
She has been out of town (which is why August was selected), so when she returns we will resume planning and let you know.

I do in Long Beach ..I favor the restaurants on Pine Ave ..theres Kings Fish House and this Italian restaurant near Ocean ..Cant think of the name have to check an old receipt lol super good! Christys on Broadway. Que Sera is getting some great press since the new owners are lesbian and developing a younger crowd. im open sometimes I dont care to be dancing in some club or loud music ...im the lounge high femme ...instrumental music in the back, sofas..candles...but at least I can hear. I hope the butches are not yawning yet HA!

Do you happen to know of a nearby restaraunt where we could meet for dinner prior to going out to the club?  If we met up for dinner first, we'd have a chance to chat with folks, plus people who aren't interested in drinking/dancing might be enticed to join us for the meal.   Any suggestions would be helpful.

I havnt posted to the list much but I am also a memmber of the san diego yahoo group. its a lot of fun and we meet here and there. most of the events are in the sdg area but we did have a disneyland meet up in feb and had a blast. we are planning on another one for gay weekend which is the first weekend in Oct. 


 
For long beach, i go to ripples for fri and suites on sat but havent been in a few weeks. waiting for oc ink to open in orange. its supposed to already be opened but need to confirm that. its a tattoo shop/bar/social lounge and its all gay!
